Lockdown Browser Mode
Enforces full-screen mode for the entire duration of the assessment. Right-click context menus, text selection, drag-and-drop, printing, and saving are all disabled. Exiting full-screen triggers an immediate warning and screen lock.
Tab-Switch & Focus Tracking
Detects Alt+Tab, window switching, minimizing, and tab changes the instant focus is lost. Each violation locks the screen with an escalating time penalty and is logged against the student's submission.
Copy / Paste & Key Blocking
Blocks copy, cut, and paste, plus risky shortcuts like Ctrl+C/V/X/U/S/P/A, F5 refresh, F12, and Ctrl+Shift+I. Developer-tools opening is detected and flagged, preventing students from inspecting answers or page source.
Behavioral Analysis
Continuously tracks typing patterns, mouse movements, click and scroll behavior, and per-question answer timing. Suspiciously fast answers (under 2 seconds) are automatically flagged as potential cheating.
VPN / Proxy / Tor Detection
Inspects the student's network and ISP to detect VPNs, proxies, and Tor connections used to mask identity or location. Detected connections add a heavy penalty (up to 100 points) to the risk score.
Question & Option Randomization
Every student receives a uniquely shuffled question order and randomized answer options using a Fisher-Yates algorithm — making answer-sharing between seatmates virtually impossible.
Real-Time Risk Scoring & Auto-Disqualification
Every violation carries a weighted penalty that feeds a live risk score. As the score climbs, the submission's status automatically escalates — and once it crosses the disqualification threshold, the attempt is ended and flagged for faculty review. All monitoring data syncs to the server throughout the assessment.
Security alerts are graded by severity (Medium, High, Critical) and surfaced in the faculty Exam Security Dashboard and detailed anti-cheating reports for both quizzes and examinations.

A Gradebook That Computes Grades For You
The HirayaLMS Class Grade Sheet is a complete electronic class record. Choose between fully automated Computed grading or hands-on Manual entry, organize scores by category, and let the system calculate institutional grades on the 1.00–5.00 scale — for both Midterm and Final periods.
Computed Mode
Pulls quiz, assignment, and exam scores automatically and applies the institutional weight distribution to calculate each student's grade in real time. Computed grades are auto-saved to the final grades record on every recalculation.
Manual Entry Mode
Type scores directly into any cell with per-student override support. Add custom columns with their own perfect scores, and override individual quiz, assignment, lab, project, or exam values — overrides are preserved even when max scores change.
Grade Computation by Category
Scores are grouped into five categories. The institutional weight distribution (Total Raw Score Percentage Method) determines how each contributes to the final grade.
